Making Glass Visible
Making glass visible or glass aware with any design, your logo, any colour, any finish plain or frosted.
Large areas of glass have been known to cause injury when mistaken for a doorway or opening. Under certain lighting conditions glass panes can appear ‘invisible’ and if children or adults collide with the pane this can cause serious injuries.
If you have large glass areas such as doors and side panes within your home that are not easily visible as glass, they can be marked to reduce the risk of accidental injury. Glass areas are easily visible with markings or :
• use decorative treatments (such as opaque or patterned glass)
• transoms designs
• sandblasting making it opaque
• other components making the glass pane noticeable.
